~~~~ESSENTIAL OILS~~~~
AMBER ESSENTIAL OIL & RESIN: Emotion balancer, grounding, calming; strength of the earth. 
BASIL: Spicy-sweet aroma with a licorice-like undertone. Strengthens the mind, heart and immune system. Improves memory and alertness. 
BERGAMOT: Sweet, citrus scent. Uplifting, relaxing. Antiseptic and combats acne, eczema and psoriasis. 
BLACK PEPPER: Aphrodisiac, enhances self-confidence & balances emotions with its somewhat woodsy aroma. Increases assertiveness and alertness. Anti-bacterial and anti-viral. Warm and comforting. 
CEDARWOOD: Calming, nervous tension, anxiety, meditation, focusing, stress,fear, anger, grounding. Shifts viewpoint from problems to challenges, provides strength during difficult times. Helps heal skin rashes and clear blemishes. 
CINNAMON: Warm, rich, spicy aroma. Uplifting, calming & inspiring. Highly potent anti-microbial and anti-viral properties. 
 
CYPRESS: Skin toner, restorative, tonic. Irritability, calming, restlessness, anger. Increases objectivity and mental clarity. Supportive during transitions and change.
 
EUCALYPTUS: Antiviral,antibacterial, antifungal, increases circulation. Stimulating and refreshing; increases alertness, clears the mind, improves concentration and intellectual capacity. Reduces excessive oiliness; eases respiratory congestion, muscular aches and pains; relieves past traumas. 
FIR: Antiseptic, tonic. elevating, strengthening and energetically invigorating. Fresh, relaxing. 
GERANIUM: Rosy, sweet fragrance. Balances the skin's oil so good for oily or dry skin. Relaxing and soothing. 
 
GINGERGRASS: Sweet, earthy fragrance with threads of ginger, lemon and a woody undertone. Uplifting, aphrodisiac. Stress reducer, clears sinuses. 
LAVENDER: Antidepressant,sedative, nervous tension, balances emotions, irritability, insomnia,stress, hysteria. Clears thinking and promotes well-being. Soothes the skin and balances oil production. Helps heal blemishes and stimulates circulation; reduces inflammation associated with acne and other skin injuries such as sunburn. 
LEMONGRASS: Good for sagging skin; antiseptic, antidepressant, anti-inflammatory; revitalizing, uplifting. Excellent for oily skin and hair. Nervous exhaustion, improves concentration, encourages change and personal growth; enhances psychic perceptions.

APRICOT KERNEL OIL: Light, rich oil excellent for delicate, sensitive, dry or inflamed skin. Moisturizing, high in Vitamins A & B. Regenerates skin cells. 
AVOCADO OIL: High in Vitamins A, B, D and E with protein and essential fatty acids. Good for skin challenges and mature skin; nourishing and moisturizing. 
AVOCADO BUTTER: Rich and creamy with similar nutrients to avocado oil. (Delirious)
BLACK CURRANT OIL: A rich source of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) essential to healthy skin and other body functions. 
BORAGE OIL: Contains 24% GLA important for skin health and other body functions. 
CASTOR OIL: Humectant (attracts moisture), skin softener. May benefit lacerations and psoriasis. 
COCOA BUTTER: Edible portion of the cacao bean. Rich in anti-oxidants. 
CRANBERRY OIL: 1:1 ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. High tocopherols, superior moisturizer.  
EVENING PRIMROSE OIL: Rich source of GLA (essential fatty acid), vital to skin health and healing. Thus, useful with such conditions as eczema, psoriasis and allergic skin reactions. 
GRAPESEED OIL: High in Vitamin E; rich in minerals, antioxidants; natural chlorophyll. Tightens and tones skin.
HEMP OIL: High in essential fatty acids and vitamin E. Moisturizes, revives and repairs skin cell damage; absorbs quickly. 
JOJOBA OIL: Ideal for all skin types since it closely resembles the skin's own natural sebum. Excellent moisturizer for all skin types. Anti-inflammatory, conditioning; excellent for mature skin and wrinkles. 
MANGO BUTTER: Rich in moisturizing properties; readily absorbed. 
OLIVE BUTTER: Very rich in emollient properties.
OLIVE OIL: Skin conditioner with emollient properties; adds mildness. Excellent for inflamed or dry skin as it provides anti-wrinkle and wound healing benefits.
PUMPKIN SEED OIL: Rich in many nutrients including zinc and vitamin E; high in essential fatty acids. 
RICE BRAN OIL: Rich in Vitamin E; similar to wheatgerm oil. Contains essential fatty acids and antioxidants which promote overall good health. Very gentle oil; excellent moisturizer. 
ROSEHIP SEED OIL: High omega fatty acids; recommended for dry or damaged skin. 
SHEA BUTTER: Exceptionally moisturizing and gentle; creamy feel. High in Vitamin E; softens, protects and encourages healing. 
SUNFLOWER OIL: Rich in lecithin and Vitamins A, C, D, and E with linoleic acid. Protective effect with wound healing properties. 
 
SWEET ALMOND OIL: Rich in protein, softens and lubricates. Contains various vitamins and minerals; very mild and good for dry, itchy skin as well as overall conditioning. 
WALNUT OIL: Excellent emollient quality with good moisturizing, anti-aging and regenerative properties. Useful against fungal infections; reputed to benefit eczema, herpes, psoriasis. Used in anti-wrinkle products and creams for dry, normal and mature skin. Helps balance nervous system. 
WHEATGERM OIL: High in Vitamins A, D, and extremely high in Vitamin E with natural antioxidants. Strengthens capillaries and regenerates skin cells acting as a healing agent for dry, cracked skin and scars, burns, stretch marks.

A little bit about.............
Soape du Jour is a small company dedicated to making natural suds for your skin!  All ingredients are 100% natural and vegetable based so they won't clog your pores or dry your skin.   Only the finest base oils, pure essential oils and botanicals are used.  Dyes are not used, a range of colours is achieved through added spices, herbs and root powders to name a few.
All the soap is  handmade and handcut.  All soap bars are weighed individually and cost $ 4.00 per 100 gram ( $4.00-$6.00 )
